During both the Friday lecture and Saturday workshop, we will be examining the relationship of cross-cultural symbolism with our common neurobiology, and how they connect. In these presentations you will learn how cross-culturally appearing symbols, narratives, myths, and religious ideas are influenced by our innate and universally acquired psychological architecture. This provides an additional insight into the meaning behind commonly occurring and re-ocurring themes in dreams and cross-culturally appearing stories and myths.
