Dreams are the Psyche Speaking in Images - Member Event

  • Cleveland Public Library - Beachwood Branch 25501 Shaker Boulevard Beachwood, OH, 44122 United States (map)

At the heart of many programs at Jung Cleveland is a simple idea from Jungian psychology. The psyche speaks through images. Dreams, symbols, and felt experience offer ways of listening inward and discovering meaning that comes from within. This member gathering centers on that process.

Jung Cleveland invites you to an intimate Dream Image Discussion, an evening devoted to creative encounter with the images that arise in dreams. Rather than interpreting or decoding them, we will approach dream images as living expressions of the unconscious and explore what they may reveal about the movement of the psyche.

Members are invited to bring an image inspired by a dream. You may work in any medium such as collage, drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture, or a digitally altered image. The emphasis is on symbolic resonance rather than artistic skill. The image offers a way for the psyche to speak.

Through creative process and shared reflection, the group will explore how imagination becomes a bridge to the Self and how symbols connect conscious life with deeper psychological currents.

Monica Brown, ATR-P, LPC, an Ursuline graduate and credentialed art therapist and counselor will facilitate this event.

Please register and begin expressing your dream image.
